BLYTH SWIMMER OFF TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Alex Brown one of our senior swimmers and has qualified for the Fina World Masters Championships in Gothenburg, SWEDEN starting on the 31st of July 2010.
In the first race of the Championships Ms Mieko Nagaoka from Japan competes in the 800m freestyle at the age of 96. Alex hasn’t quite reached those dizzy heights yet but we wish him well and are very proud that a Blyth swimmer will be representing us on the world stage at this prestigious event.

COMPETITIVE SUMMER BREAK
The Competitive Section will be having it’s usual summer break this year.
The last session will be Saturday the 31st of July 2010 and we will resume training on Tuesday the 24th of August 2010.
