If you can show your appreciation and thanks for everything that Tom Thewlis has done for everyone at some point in our lives. Due to social distancing and limited numbers please help us show Anne, Dawn, Roxane and family how much he was loved. Uncle Toms funeral is this Friday 1st May. Due to restricted numbers at Blyth crematorium; we are asking club members old and new and any friends of Tom to stand on the route and clap as he goes passed. Club members please wear uniform and friends please wear bright colours. The route is 1630 depart Newsham farm estate (thorp close) Turning right and heading to newcastle road passed the coop and across to the roundabout (bottom of the laverick) turn left and down to the roundabout at the beach straight over passed the lifeguard tower and along to Ridley Park and around the back towards the keelrow carpark – right at traffic lights opposite morrison’s carpark and follow the road around to the roundabout turn right and to the crematorium. Please remember social distancing. Please note only family flowers; their is a just giving page for all donations. Attached is the link to live stream the funeral from the crematorium if you want to feel part of this. We hope you will all help us to remember a great friend with a glass of anything at 2000 and toast Uncle Tom – please upload your pictures so anne can see we are all thinking of the family and when social distancing is over the family are arranging a celebration of his life.
